Door Delivery
Small cartons and items that fall within the weight and dimensions of our delivery to door carriers will be delivered without an appointment, and you will be provided with a tracking number. Goods are delivered fully insured. If we are delivering larger items with our own truck, we will notify you in advance, and you can inform us of any special delivery instructions, and your preferred delivery times.

Delivery to a Commercial Receiver
A Commercial Receiver is defined as a commercial location such as a moving company or warehouse with the ability to receive a large heavy shipment that is serviced by a truck with a tailgate lift and a driver. The driver can offload the carton or wooden crate in paved areas, and move it to an easily accessible location such as the front of a grade level commercial loading door, or loading dock. The driver cannot provide delivery assistance for moving items to the inside of a building, or over unpaved surfaces.

Delivery to Door
Delivery to Door is restricted to items which can safely be carried or transported by a driver with a hand truck, and that fall within the size and weight restrictions of our carriers. The carrier will not phone to make an appointment for items that can be delivered to door. Goods will be delivered with a signature requirement.

Curbside Delivery
Curbside Delivery is a freight service which offloads your large carton or wooden crate to the street point closest to your home which is accessible by truck, or if possible to the front of your paved garage. Large trucks cannot safely navigate steep entryways, long winding driveways with tight turns, or areas which do not allow them to turn around safely. The driver will offload the carton or wooden cate with a tailgate lift where required, and you will be responsible for transporting goods to your garage or the inside of your home. In most cases the driver cannot assist you with moving your goods once it has been dropped off, unless this is a service that has been arranged in advance for which there is an additional charge, and is subject to availability. Curbside delivery is by appointment only. Goods will be delivered with a signature requirement.

Please note that some of our luxury furniture such as solid wood items and steel frame sofas can easily weigh in excess of 260 lbs, and when multiple items are crated in wood, they can easily weigh in excess of 500 lbs. We will do our best to estimate dimensions and weight before shipping items like this, so you can be prepared and have help on hand to move goods to their final destination. Where possible, we suggest contacting a local service provider to receive your shipment, and arrange final delivery.

Receiving your shipment
We go to great lengths to ensure that goods are delivered in good condition, so the likelihood of your shipment arriving with damage is extremely low. When necessary we crate or cage items in wood for extra protection. Goods are fully insured for replacement cost, and we photograph cartons and wooden crates on all sides before they are shipped from our warehouse. 
When receiving your shipment, you should photograph all sides of your delivery items before unwrapping or uncrating. If there is visible damage on the outside of the carton or wooden crate when you receive it, you should note this in writing on your waybill when signing, and also write “contents subject to inspection” on the waybill. For example, if the top corner of a carton is crushed, you would write: “top corner of carton crushed, contents subject to inspection”. When unpacking items where you suspect there may be shipping damage, you should always save the packaging material as it may be required for our insurance claim, or to return goods for replacement. If you discover shipping damage once goods have been unwrapped, you will need to photograph it clearly with both a close up shot of the damaged area, and a long shot which shows the damaged area with the entire piece visible, and contact us within 24 hours, and we will take care of the rest.

We offer 3 months free storage on the purchase of in stock goods. Secure the items you need for your home or project by purchasing them now, and we will store them free of charge for 3 months.  After 3 months, your goods can continue to be stored for a small monthly fee.

We offer 3 months free storage for special orders once goods are received at our warehouse. We know how difficult it can be to time the installation of goods for large projects - delays happen. Rest assured, your goods will be safely stored in our secure, dry, heated warehouse, until they are ready to be delivered. For projects with short timelines, our stocking program allows us to assemble and deliver full containers to points throughout North America, Central and South America, and the Caribbean - in a fraction of the time compared to traditional methods based on ordering from Europe. Our location, 15 minutes from Port of Vancouver - the third busiest port by volume in North America, allows us to easily connect with ocean freight and transshipment carriers.

For reference: a typical 20 foot container shipment can accommodate approximately 24 cubic meters of furniture, and will usually become cost effective on orders of $50,000 USD and above. Please contact us for a shipping quotation.
